Playdate

Haley is getting good with the spoon. She loves bananas and sweet potatoes so far. She doesn't like rice cereal too much unless it is mixed with fruit. Even then she is learning the fruit by itself tastes much better. You wouldn't know it from this picture but she manages to get and keep most of the food in her mouth.


On Friday Haley had her first playgroup. There were 4 others kids including a little 4 week old. Haley wasn't into the baby but she loved the older ones. She would follow them around watching what they were doing. When they would start to "talk" Haley would try too. They were really good with her too trying to give her a bottle and help me change her diaper.

Once we were rested up from the playgroup, I got out her jumper Grandma Vara bought her. She loved it! She can't quite reach the floor so I put a blanket under her feet and a blanket behind her for extra support. She spent over an hour exploring. She was going from toy to toy trying to figure out what each one did. She managed to get herself bouncing a couple of times too and would smile each time.


Also this week Haley rolled over several times. She had been getting her feet in position but she would put her arms straight out to the side and get frustrated when she couldn't move. Then I put her on her stomach one day and boom - she rolled over 3 times in a row. She gets camera shy when I try to catch it on film.
