Drool, drool and more drool

Haley is drooling like crazy these days. I haven't figured out how she doesn't have a chapped chin yet. Everything she touches goes straight to her mouth. She loves her hands most of all. Luckily she has only managed to scratch herself twice, once to her nose and once to her lip from her nails. I'm trying my best to keep them nice and short.

I grabbed my tongue! Now what do I do?

The joys of parenthood

Haley has been showing us how much fun it is to be a parent this week. She has managed to go to the bathroom in the middle of me changing her diaper 3 times in the past 2 days! At least she saved peeing on someone for Daddy after he gave her a bath. Then she showed me how much she didn't like her dinner by spitting up all down my back when I was burping her... poor little one. Needless to say I've been doing a lot of laundry these days and it's just the beginning! But we still love her and wouldn't trade it for the world. I guess it's just part of being a parent :)


She can't decide between sticking out her tongue and smiling, so she did both.


What a fun toy!


Hmmm, which is more fun? Grabbing the toy or my shirt? They both taste good.

Giggles

Haley has learned to giggle. She first started a few weeks ago when I would get her out of her PJ's in the morning. For some reason she thought that was the highlight of her day. Now she is giggling more often. Yesterday I was showing her how her feet can touch her cheeks and she thought that was so funny. The phone rang in the middle of the video so I had to cut it short. I'll work on getting a new one.

Yummy Hands

Haley has discovered her mouth! She won't take a pacifier anymore and would rather chew on her hands instead. It is usually great until Buster licks her hands...yuck! She doesn't notice but I do so I'm trying hard to keep Buster away from her little fingers. I'm sure it will get harder when she starts to eat baby food.



And she loves her tongue. She is like a little Michael Jordan sticking her tongue out all the time.




Bathtime is fun! She definately has more rolls then when she was born. Hopefully she'll work those off once she starts moving around.


She's not too crazy about tummy time anymore but we still work on it.

Haley is getting so big! She is almost 4 months old, I can't believe it. We just started putting her to sleep in her crib in her bedroom and she has done great so far. And I did great too only checking on her once. She still sleeps thru the night and wakes up with a smile on her face that just melts our hearts. She is such a good little girl.

We took Haley to the park across the street for the first time the other day. At first she wasn't too sure about the swing but then she got the hang of it.

Last weekend she enjoyed our swing on our deck with her Daddy.
